“FROM BERLIN TO BUENOS AIRES (and back)" by ROD
South Embassy is excited to partner with Latin American brands and artists, and we'd like to extend a special invitation. On April 13th, 2023 at 6pm we will unveil a new exclusive collection from AESTHETIK, a genderless brand that was founded in Buenos Aires and is now based in Berlin with its founder and creative director ROD.
To celebrate their 10th anniversary, AESTHETIK has released a brand new collection of unisex streetwear styles for Spring 2023. This inaugural collection will be available in South Embassy Berlin and Buenos Aires and will feature prints inspired by the autobiographical Inner Journey and the artistic and musical subcultures of Buenos Aires and Berlin.
The event includes ROD's music and the launch of Æsthetik's new collection, inviting you into ROD's immersive world.
ROD is a multidisciplinary artist and self-taught designer born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina currently residing in Berlin. He works in different fields, from music, graphic design, screen printing and fashion to more creative and trending projects on multiple platforms. His art emerges from his unique experiences, thoughts, interests and natural callings. Conversations, song lyrics and a single word can be his inspiration.
He has created the brand "ÆSTHETIK" inspired by cultural memories of 80's rock and pop and subcultures, combined with graphic elements that evoke tenderness and melancholy. Characterized by contrast, refined clean lines, fragile as well as fluid, projected into the surrounding space.
We will also offer long drink tastings of premium Argentinian gin "Principe de los Apóstoles" and Argentinian wine.
Join us for a night of celebration and discovery of the intersection of Latin American and European cultures.

ABOUT ÆSTHETIK
"Aesthetic refers generally to the meaning in the arts, particularly in poetry and music"
This project is relaunching under the same spirit and sensibility.
We create a new value from what already universally exists.
We want to offer the experience of a better feeling using recycled bio organic garments, which are accompanied by labels made with T-shirts waste and sent in a compostable bag.
Likewise, we give waste a new life and we try to make the dream of zero-waste possible.
Our reason to produce in Europe is to limit CO2 emissions in the transport of the garments to our workspace and ultimately to the customers, and it allows much better control over the production process. This is the best way for us to be able to ensure that all the people involved in the production are working in fair conditions and respecting the environment.
ÆSTHETIK, formerly known as Synthetik, also serves as a platform for pop-up shops & other special projects.
