This Carmenère, a classic of Chilean viticulture, has a full body with red and purple nuances. It reveals aromas of blackberries, dried figs and notes of red pepper and black pepper. Its expansion takes 8 months in French oak. Its silky, tasty tannins and its balanced acidity makes it ideal for spicy-hot dishes or a piece of grilled meat.
A mature and well-balanced Carmenère, which can be perfectly combined with food or even gives pleasure alone.
The perfect red wine with friends or as a couple. With its quality and its velvety tannins, it convinces both women and men. The Carmenère grape is an old French grape variety from Bordeaux, which was exterminated by the phylloxera in the 19th century in Europe. It has survived in Chile and has been considered the most distinctive grape variety in Chile since its accidental rediscovery in the 1990s.
