ACAPULCO DESIGN - LOW TABLE TERRAZZO "TIERRA" BLACK

Together with various German designers, founder Benjamin Caja conceived a collection that reinterprets Mexican mid-century design. The Low Table was designed by industrial designer Olivia Herms, who previously developed the Ring Table, a round dining table with a delicate metal frame and elegant terrazzo top, for Acapulco Design in spring 2021. The Low Table echoes the design and materials of the Ring Table: The terrazzo top is supported by a delicate metal frame. Here, too, a ring acts as a central element, elegantly connecting the table legs and top. The metal struts create a butterfly-shaped pattern.

The central ring is a striking detail throughout Acapulco Design's entire product portfolio. Olivia Herms, long-time project manager at Konstantin Grcic, also designed the dining table with a ring as a distinctive stylistic element, which also enables space-saving transport and easy assembly. The Tierra Black model is a contemporary reference and interpretation of the first Acapulco Chair models of the 1950s in dark colors.

Material: Frame made of galvanized steel, powder-coated. Tabletop made of terrazzo stone, color: terrazzo black, for indoor and outdoor use.
