DIETER MEIER BLEND "MALO" SELECTION - 2016 

Youthful, dark ruby; noble and subtle scent, fine red fruit notes, somewhat flowery and a trace of smoke, almost Burgundian in appearance; full, warm but at the same time velvety fine structure, intense fruit and melty extract, slightly buttery notes, only very subtle roasted notes; extremely long-lasting in the final.

Vinification
From strongly reduced yield plots. Harvested and selected by hand, fermented in small, open tanks with manual immersion of the mash. Aged for 18 months in French barriques, approx. 60% new wood, unfiltered.
