"Extreme Terroir from Chile"

A Cabernet Sauvignon for true Cabernet lovers and purists.

The small vineyard from which this wine originates is located in Alto Cachapoal and is essentially influenced by the Andes and its glacial climate.

Elaboration: Harvested by hand from selected grapes from Maipo. Fermented by the traditional Bordeaux method.

Characteristics: A wine with lots of dark berry and blueberry character with just a touch of chocolate and wood. Full body, fine tannins and a fruit finish.

Terroir: The vineyard is located in Maipo DO. The terrestrial to alluvial, ancient soils, limestone and granite gravel, giving the wines minerality and soft tannins.

The name of the project, "Le Clos des Fous", which translates from French as "Bodega de los Locos", is there to remind us of the challenge and risk that this project encompasses, cultivating Riesling and Burgundy grapes in an unexplored area, considered So far inadequate for quality and high-end results. Clos des Fous has proven otherwise!
