Garments made of alpaca fibers have extraordinary properties. The cuddly and velvety quality of the yarn is often the reason why alpaca is the preferred material. Alpaca wool provides optimum warmth in winter and is also suitable as summer clothing due to its special thermo-regulating properties. Alpaca wool is a natural product that "breathes".

Extremely soft
The fibers of alpaca wool are thin and fine, which makes the made of her textiles very soft. Baby alpaca wool is especially thin and fine and comes mainly from the first shearing of alpacas when they are about 2½ years old.

Alpaca is the only wool in the world that does not contain lanolin. Lanolin is often the cause of allergic reactions associated with wool. If you are allergic to lanolin, you can easily wear textiles made of 100% alpaca wool.

Warm lightweight
The fibers of alpaca wool are semi-hollow, which gives the yarn additional insulating effect. We take advantage of this feature and weave elegant, extra-fine and thin textiles that keep you warm. And when it's warm, the material feels cool.

Hardwearing and sturdy
The structure of alpaca fibers is more durable and robust than, for example, sheep's wool or cashmere, so you can enjoy your alpaca products for many years.

Minimal nodules and lint
Sheep wool and cashmere wool textiles often form nodules or start linting after some time. This happens because its wool fibers are uneven, causing the fibers to stick together and eventually to lint. Alpaca fibers are, in contrast to e.g. Cashmere wool, homogeneous and even. Our products have minimal nodule formation, as they are made of 100% alpaca wool and made with a special weaving technique.

Natural colors
Alpaca wool comes in almost all natural colors - warm white, gray, golden, brown and black - more than 20 natural colors. There are no other natural fibers with such a large natural variety of colors.

Both alpaca and sheep's wool are dirt-repellent. You can wear our products made of 100% off-white alpaca wool every day for years and they always retain their elegant appearance. If you need to clean your alpaca textiles, we recommend that you have them cleaned in an environmentally friendly manner.
