    Classic and modern are interwoven at Maqu. The clarity of the cuts puts the wearer in the foreground and surprises with elegant and practical details.
    The operators of the label are aware of the planet, take up the connections of nature and transform them into fashion, which makes natural cycles, change and regeneration of life visible. This way of thinking led Peruvian Marisa Fuentes Prado to found Maqu - her own timeless sustainable fashion label.
    Marisa is constantly creating new designs - yet she manages to preserve nature and our livelihoods through the selection of production methods, origin and materials. Each of the very diverse materials has its own story.
    Marisa keeps discovering innovations in nature and developing them further. The forces of life flow together in the typical Maqu designs and can be sensually experienced with fantastic fabrics. In the materials and methods of manufacture, tradition and modernity are mixed - as ecologically and fairly as possible.
    All products are made in Germany and Peru - individual pieces as well as small series directly in the studio in Berlin.
