BIO HONEY "QUILLAY " CHILE
The Quillay tree (Quillaja saponaria) is native to Chile and grows in the Andes at altitudes of 2,000 m. It's Andean mountain home and its extravagant star-shaped flowers donate a famous nectar. The tree should be protected in a special way, because the high saponin content in the bark makes it interesting for the industry. They are used to knitwear wool and silk to clean. They also have a healing effect and also be used in drinks and in cosmetics.
