BIO HONEY "MARMELEIRO" WALTER LANG BRAZIL
Floral with a special, slightly fruity notes. This fine honey is the first summer dress after the big rain, a natural mixture of different flowers of the region. The Marmeleiro-preto, a tree with small, almost inconspicuous, white flowers, has given this honey's name. With the awakening of nature all around but the bees collect the nectar from the magnificent Angico de bezerro and many other flowers.
The main area is located on a natural, very extensive plateau in the northeast of the country. The former seabed has increased here to about 900 m. The city Iguatu, north of the Twin Cities Juarzeiro / Crato is virtually the gateway to the honey area. Further south is the Araripe National Park, which already forms the border with the neighboring states of Pernambuco and Piauí. The impressive park with its original and undestroyed nature is like a gigantic green lung amidst the otherwise very dry and arid landscape.
