The Huaquén vineyard produces a Malbec with very particular characteristics due to its geographical location. The color of this wine is a clear and bright ruby red. The palate is medium, round, light, with notes of plum and red fruits. It is an ideal wine to consume now.
All our vineyards are cared for and managed with affection and respect for the natural environment that surrounds them. The vineyards of Huaquén are located on the border between the valleys of Curicó and del Maule, in the commune of Curepto. This place was carefully selected by our professionals due to its climatic conditions and its geography. The vineyards of Huaquén are characterized by being established in hills at the foot of the Cordillera de la Costa, which provides an excellent solar exposure ideal for the production of quality red grapes. After harvesting by hand, the grapes are transported in 400kg bins so as not to damage the bunches and thus preserve the organoleptic quality of the grapes. The yields are around 8000 kg / ha.
