Goes particularly well with white meat, cream sauces, vegetables, seafood and fish. Suitable for mortar and grinder.The Bucay pepper comes from the province of Guayas in the heart of Ecuador. In the foggy slopes of the rainforest the pepper plant finds nutrient-rich and healthy soils and forms its large, aromatic berries. Taste the Bucay pepper with a smoky sharpness as well as a summery note of lemon and mint. The pepper berries evolve their complex aroma by gentle air drying. Protected from strong sunshine, they keep their warm and powerful nature. We maintain personal contact with a group of peasants working in family farms according to an old tradition. Top priority for us is close cooperation with the farmers in Bucay.
