Km.0 TANNAT GRAN RESERVA 2015 FROM URUGUAY

Off the Carmelo coast, with the meeting of the Uruguay and Paraná rivers, the "widest river in the world", the Río de la Plata, is born. Km 0 of the Río de la Plata gives this place a particular microclimate forming a Unique Terroir.

Km. 0 Río De La Plata Gran Reserva, is the result of the expression of the Terroir and the meticulous artisan work in the winery. This wine from grapes from our best vineyards in selected vintages, carefully made and aged in oak barrels, is a unique varietal that allows you to enjoy a century of experience of the Irurtia Family in the Terroir de Carmelo.

Tasting note

Elaboration process
Pre-fermentation: cold at 10 ºC for 2 days.
Alcoholic fermentation: with selected yeasts at 28ºC for 22 days.
Malolactic fermentation: natural

Aging: 18 months in oak barrels.

It has an intense and full purple color, a concentrated nose with ripe red fruits and raisined plums. Great character, soft tannins in an excellent finish that speaks of its elegance and personality
