Abalones are gigantic sea snails that attach themselves to rocks in water up to five meters deep. Especially in Asia, their tasty, firm, light flesh is considered a delicacy. In terms of consistency and taste, the abalones are comparable to the Locos (Concholepas concholepas) found on the Chilean Pacific coast. A delicacy that you should definitely treat yourself to!
